Using Udev Rules

Udev is a tool to manage devices for the Linux Kernel.

Udev rules allow system administrators to use unique attributes of a device to re-export them under different, more suitable, or convenient aliases.

Udev rules are placed in /etc/udev/rules.d/ and consist of comma separated tags broken into two parts: matching and configuration

Use the udevadm tool to get device details
